After years of trying to prove everyone wrong, Red Hat has decided that it can no longer support its bloated, over-engineered distribution for anything less than (trumpet sounds) $179 per system, per year.
Guess I'll be upgrading my workstation to Debian by January. Or maybe it's time to try that Gentoo Linux that all the kids are so crazy about.
By the way, before you go spending $900 - $2500 for a Red Hat Enterprise Server license, do yourself a favor and ask someone about FreeBSD.
